This is a fantastic fishing machine that also works well as a family boat. The engine is a 1988 22 Johnson VRO that has good even compression on all cylinders and runs great. I also, just recently, put on a new rub-rail as well as completely stripping the hull and had a barrier coat applied then Interlux anti-fouling paint.

This Whaler comes with the following:
- 2006 Venture Aluminum I-Beam Double Axerl Trailer
- Surge Brakes
- Water wash-down set up
- New custom 1/2 tower w/4 rocket launchers
- New full enclosure & deck cover
- New Humminbird Matrix97- GPS/Fishfinder
- New Icom VHF Radio w/Shakespeare antenna
- New Sony stereo/CD player w/two speakers
- New gunwale padding from Halls
- New side padding in helm are from Halls
- New seat cushions from Halls
- New Igloo cooler w/new cooler cleats & cooler cushion
- New foldable transom seat
- New open rung swim ladder
- New Porta-Poti
- New main electrical panel
- New controll switches at helm station
- New docking lights & deck light
- New double battery set-up w/ a Promariner 20 Plus battery charging system

The interior of the cuddy cabin on this boat is all original and in mint condition.

Asking $16,000.00 OBO
Stafford, VA

I am selling this great boat because I found my dream boat, a 1991 27' Walkaround.

I hope these come out, this is the first time doing this.

Boy! Someones going to get a gorgeous Whaler!!!

I have seen this boat up close and personal and watched her perform at the potomac Swim this year. Her owner is honest and has put a great deal of money and effort into making thisa "Sweet" Whaler. And this is a fantastic boat!

This boat has the comfort, the speed (she blew me away in the Potomac) and the power. I would buy her myself if I didn't already own a number of WHalers.

Anyone who buys this boat from this guy is going to be happy they did and Aquia is one of the nicest, honest people you will find.

This is a gorgeous Boat in tip top shape!!!! Ive been on her and around her.

What is the tow weight on the boat? Do you think a Honda Ridgeline with a V6 could do the job?

I believe it is approx. 6000 lbs. You would definetly have to get extended side mirrors.

I have a 1985 Revenge 22 WT with Yamaha 225 without whaler drive, my Revenge has the optional 129 Gallon fuel tank.
The first season I pulled it locally with my Dodge Dakota Quad Cab, 4.7 V8, 4X4. It pulled the rig easily and also stopped easily with trailer brakes. The farthest I pulled it was about a 100 mile round trip. While everything seemed OK, I just couldn't get past the fact that in a bad situation the tail would be wagging the dog.

When my lease was up I upsized to a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 5.9 Hemi 4X4. it feels much more comfortable towing the Revenge now. Last year I made the 1000+ Mile round trip tow from the Detroit area to Copper Harbor for the Isle Royal Cruise and I just got back from the North channel Cruise which was a 875 Mile round trip tow. The last 200 miles of the trip on the way up was with a full tank on the boat. No Problems,
You can probably tow it with the Ridgeline 6 cylinder but I think it will take a toll on the vehicle, and in some instances may not be safe.

Congrats on selling a good looking boat! Can you tell me about the top and glass. Is it a custom top? How much will I have to spend to get something like it.

I am proud to say that I am the new owner of Justin's boat. Justin, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family this past weekend. I can't wait to make the 350 mile round trip to drag the Revenge north. This a truly fine boat and I look forward to many years of memories on it with my family and friends.

There could potentially be a Sweet 79 montauk with a 2006 90hp ETEC on the market in the spring..
