Sorry--hate to ask, but...I have a relatively clean 1981 Montauk with a 2000 90 hp Johnson and a good trailer. The boat has dual batteries, vhf, Furuno FF, and a garmin GPS. The wood is all good, and she has a pretty new custom console cover and older seatback cover. Any idea as to what she's worth? I don't want to waste my time or anybody elses (excpet by asking this question--again, sorry). Thanks--boat is near Annapolis MD.

Thanks. I was thinking less, like start at $10K max. She'll probably be posted soon--I'd like to move up to something is the 20'-21' range.

John -

With all due respect to Deep, look at the used boat sites for getting a good idea.

A search on www.boattrader.com , www.yachtworld.com and www.craigslist.org will show you the competition. Brokered boats list for higher amounts.

My estimate would be 8-9K given the market.

I'd say 8-9 K is a good range, if it's in ok shape. With a newer engine(4 stroke), you might be in the 10 + range.
At least in the Great Lakes area, that's what Ive seen.

Thanks. Again, I don't want to waste my time. I guess I'll start at $9K and see where it goes.
