It's a 18' Guardian, could be a cool project.

I didn't think the policy was to make these referrals unless it was your boat. I don't need special khowledge to know you are not doing anyone a favor by encouraging them to buy a failing project boat!

Certainly not trying to endorse this boat, it could be a complete POS. I just like the Guardians and have been thinking about a 22 myself.

WHAT?!

well... wouldn't your calling this vessel, sight unseen, a "failing project" just as uninformed as another calling it a "cool project"? what exactly constitutes a 'failing project'? what is the definition of a 'cool project'? might the answer rest with the eye of the beholder?

i always enjoyed the opinion of other BW owners - are they banned now?

Your screen name seems ironic with a post like that.

I think the heads up is totally appropriate for several reasons. Thanks for taking the time to search and post whaler related sales links here.

1. It helps establish a market value for owners of worn out whaler hulls or hulls with worn out engines.

2. In this case, I believe the condition of the trailer would be a big issue. If the trailer is trash, $2500 for a hull is probably high since a decent replacement trailer or axles is certain to cost a grand not to mention the time involved with this process.

3. 18 ft CPD hulls are hard to find.
