2 Tempo 12 gallon tanks with OMC/Johnson connectors. The gas had sat in them for for years. They are empty now but I saw some residue. Instead of cleaning them with alcohol or whatever, I bought two new Moeller 12gal at BassPro to make it to the Rendezvous. They are not faded significantly as they were under the RPS. No guarantees but they appear salvageable.

Local pickup only (Gainesville, GA). Only catch is I would like you to also take a top-faded 6gal off my hands as well.

Anybody with interest? Maybe you know someone passing through Atlanta sometime soon that could pick these up. Thought they would go quickly since Tempo is out of business and these fit under the RPS.

Am I incorrect in thinking I can't ship these? Maybe I would need to air them out a while before doing that but basically trying to avoid the trouble and package the 6 gal with them to save a $5 trip to the dump. I looked inside the tanks again today and they're cleaner that I remember and almost completely empty.

There's an old marketing approach that says I should charge more for them to communicate a higher value to the consumer.

$30 for the pair.

Mention CW and get $30 off and a usable 6 gallon tank.

(Insert emoticon here.)

Are these the old red steel BW-12 tanks? Dry them out and they can be shipped.

No, sorry these are the dark red plastic. Those metal ones are very nice. I was going to use these plastic Tempo tanks but they came with my barn-find boat and had 4-year old gas in them. I was in a hurry to make the Lanier Rendezvous running strong so I just bought 2 new Moellers for a fresh start. These Tempo tanks have since been emptied.

Will the gas tanks fit under the thwart seat of a 13 sport? If so consider them gone! I used to live in Gainesville (actually thats where I bought my whaler) I have a friend that will pick em up for me.

Thanks

Thanks but don't think they will fit a 13 in that way. The tanks are over a foot tall with the cap. Fit side by side under an RPS in 16/17.

They are the 12 gal in this ad, probably a few years older than 2004.

Ahh...thanks anyway though. I have several gas tanks already... I really need one that will fit under the thwart seat of the 13. I'm suprised someone hasn't jumped on them.

Have you tried craigslist? There is a "free" section there.
