Still have a very solid, dry and dependable 1967 Sport 13' with a '93 Evinrude 25hp, teleflex steering, nice original mahogany, Durabak interior and galvanized trailer. Asking $2995. Don't rag me about photos...if you buy a boat from photos you don't need a Whaler! If you live close enough to Bristol Tennessee come see/water-test the boat. Email or call 423-418-3483.

No photos means wet foam, crazed gelcoat, termites in wood, 25hp that is better off as an anchor.

Ya, additionally means that this guy is a thief too. If he won't send a photo of the boat, he's definitely got something to hide.

What a jerk.

We're supposed to be civilized here. A seller can operate anyway they see fit. However, buyers can also pass on boats offered by sellers that don't provide the items they want to evaluate a possible purchase.

This is a great site on many levels. However I would refrain from posting a boat for sale here. Who needs the type of abusive feedback these lurkers spew?

While the responses are not respectful, the OP's comments are not called for either and limit the exposure of the boat. Its too small for what I am looking for, but I'm also probably 500-700 miles away. If it was a boat I would be interested in, would I drive up there based on a verbal description (and not much of one at that) and assurances its dry? No, I'd want to see what it looked like before investing any time in it.

You should see what this same guy wrote about this whaler on another whaler site. He flat out disrespected anyone who wanted a photo of the boat. I feel he's very dishonest and anyone show does not want to send a perspective buyer a photo, is hiding something.

If he is an older guy he just might not know how to use or own a digital camera and probably frustrates him to no end dealing with computers. I have dealt few a few folks like this. They ended up mailing me hard copy photos. Some people just have a hard time with it. I used to keep up and am trying to keep up with technology but it is getting harder.
Heck I won't even text message someone because I would rather call! LOL!
Any way he just needs to talk to some local teenage to have them take some photos of his boat and get them on the internet.
If I were closer my 4 year old could probably do it. Heck my son might be a hacker by 6 years old!
Have fun.

It's not because he's old, it's because he's rude. Plain and simple.
