I have sent you mail. I have the side panels from a 1977 Revenge 19 footer.

I replaced a pair this year that someone had taken a saw to and drilled out for speakers. It was simple really. I used the old ones as a template and laid fiberglas thickly over them, and built new ones. Then I sanded and sprayed gelcoat. My new ones are 3x as thick as the old plastic ones, and they sparkle. I also considered having some bend a piece of sheet aluminum to make a pair and then painting that black..

Just some thoughts. Used ones are usually pretty beat up.

Thanks Jay. I haven't an old pair for a template or to redo.
Would be nice. This Guardian didn't have a fuel tank, so, no panels.

Rene,

These where actually made out of a material called Kydex and where the 1.02mm thickness. Gaurdians used the colors 52068 Steel Grey for the lighter hazy grey and 52002 Dark grey for the darker Hazy grey. The texture I believe is no longer made however, the new texture that would be best to use is PC. I have samples in my office and will double check the colors and textures tomorrow.

This material is a plastic and can be heat formed, cut, and drilled very easily.

Rene,

Sorry the OEM texture is still made and is P-H Seville.

Jeff,
I sprayed the boat with Awl Grip 'Whisper Gray'.
If I can't get some kind of template. Will most likely make one out of plexiglass.
Was hoping someone had one beatup one out there.
Time will tell.
Thanks for your info.
