I have a 1988 19ft Boston Whaler Rigid Raider Military Boat with Boatmaster Trailer. I have owned it for close to 4 years and I have never had it in the water. The trailer and boat numbers match and it has twin 70HP outboards Evinrudes and they fire, one registers 186 and the other 715 on the hours on the gauges and the Hydro lifts work great. The hule is in good shape with standard usage apparent. The trailer is a boatmaster all aluminum painted grey and has tandum axels and the bronz disc brake system it has the military 24 volt wiring system the only thing i did was put a standard trailer hitch on it , It looks brand new, i was told they put the boats in the water and the trailers in storage. I have done some limited research on it and this is a very cool boat. I am getting rid of it because I can not afford to run it or restore to 100% and no water big enough to enjoy it in. This is a great piece of military history due that these boats were used by both the USMC and the Royal Marines as an assult boat (GOOGLE Images Rigid Raider), this would make for for a great Military or Whaler restore project. If you are not a military equipment collector this would make a great work boat for dock companies and utilities companies or boat towing companies that work on the water, also would make a great emergency vessel for fire/police departments and even a neat advertising tool for companies that work on or close to large bodies of water.

My research on this package has proven that this is a valuable combination. The Boatmaster trailer alone, according to Boatmaster has a replacment value of $10,000.00 for the reason that it was built to military spects to accomodate its required use. Also Evenrude said the estimated value of engines are close to $5,000.00 by themselves. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Also have original tailights for trailer (24 volt) More pics can be made avaliable upon request.

Nice boat. Good luck, Wish I could get it but my situation is on hold for now. Still using the 68 13ft for now and dreaming of a bigger boat.

I purchased the boat last year. Now I don't have time for it.

However, I have taken it to the river and can tell you it runs very well.

I have:

-Repacked or replaced all the bearings in the trailer.
-Resealed both of the lower units on the OMCs and of course changed water pumps and fluid.
-Rebuilt and kitted all carboretors on both engines.
-Installed some new hoses and Racor Filters on the fuel system.
-Removed the fuel coffin lid and checked the tank. Dry foam and no corrosion. Installed new fuel guage. Re-sealed lid with 3-m 4200.
-Re-sealed the tiedowns in the deck with 3-m 5200.
-Made a custom aluminum mast that fits in top of the factory leaning post/tow post. Mast holds your all round white and a forward facing spreader.
-Did a compression check on both engines, both have less than 3psi difference between all cylinders.
-Confirmed the health of the oil injection systems.

I can say without a doubt that the engines are much newer than the boat. Not unusual though as the USMC techs would routinely swap out engines when a problem could not be diagnosed and these boats were still in service as late as 2005. Might still be in service I dunno, that's just the last time I can verify one being operational. I have a working history with these boats so give me a shout with any questions you may have.

$8500.00
