I have a 1984 Montauk, 1988 Yamaha 90 for sale. This is a very presentable rig with some recent improvements. Photos and details are available on E Bay item # 300258242559 or call me with questions. Looking for $8350 or best reasonable offer.

Very nice Montauk! I have been undecided if I want a Montauk or 18' Outrage. With five peple in the family the Montauk is out. I am in Tennessee and was excited to see your boat, but have since made up my mind to go Outrage.
But hears a Bump.

GDS - It sounds like you need a 17' SuperSport Limited. (1985-1990). Great cushioned seating for 6, with the classic 17 hull.

It's not he seating we need, it's the space. This should be another thread, not here. If I had less kids, I'd be headed for Atlanta this weekend!

This boat has been sold to a good home. Please feel free to remove my post and thank you.

Did it sell to someone locally? We would love to see it at a future Lanier gathering

This boat went to Dothan, Alabama. He is aware of this site so perhaps he will post. My take on the market is that classic Whalers in good condition and fairly priced sell readily. These remarkable little boats look even more attractive in this austere economy due to thier versatility and affordability. I sure wouldn't have parted with this one if I didn't have another one just like it.
