I can forsee the derisive answers to this question - but its a genuine one: I have a 1992 90 HP Yamaha 2 stroke, with around 900 hours on it. It works great, has full compression on all cylinders, and works like a champ.

Any idea what I could get for it on the 2nd-hand market? I may repower to gain extra range on my boat, so just wondered what I could sell the Yamaha for?

Bill, San Diego

Controls? Prop? Gauges?

FL would be about the same as what Tom said.

The motor has a std remote control system, it has a standard prop which seems perfectly suited to my boat. Overall condition is good - clean, looks nice.

Gauge package is std Yamaha digital tach with trim-ometer and oil level readout, and an hours clock - all original.

I'm trying to sell my My 1970 16 which is powered by a 1993 Yamaha 90 that is also in good shape.

I was recently (in the last 2 weeks) offered $1600 for motor and controls.

This was in NY.

Good luck.
