For Sale – 1999 Evinrude 50 HP, Four Stroke, Electric Fuel Injection (EFI), Power Tilt & Trim, Spare prop, controls, Evinrude gauge, plus service and maintenance manuals. $2,000 [Conway, SC]
I am currently using this engine which has approximately 120 hours. Recently computer checked – all systems OK and compression is OK. Recent maintenance included new plugs, impeller, thermostat, oil and filters, Engines runs to full 6,500 RPM per specification
This engine is VERY fuel efficient – it sips gas and is very quiet
Under the cover/hood the engine appearance is almost like new. The cover/hood has a slight scuff which can be touched up with paint.
It will be the responsibility of the buyer to remove the engine [238 lb.] from the boat and for any shipping expenses.
The engine will be sold as-is, where-is prior to removing from the boat.
To my knowledge this engine has never been in saltwater and I was told by the previous owner that the engine hour meter is correct.
I’m selling this engine because my boat is too heavy for 50 HP and I would like to buy something larger. I really bought the engine only because it came with the boat I wanted.
