1999 Montauk, 90 Mercury, aluminum trailer

This is a well maintained example of this classic model in truly exceptional condition. It is often mistaken for a brand new boat - it’s that nice. I obtained it from the original owner in 2000 and have used it gently as a second boat on a small lake with an occasional trip to salt water. It has lived on a trailer under a cover and has no bottom paint. It remains as rigged by the dealer and has no mods or additional holes drilled in it. All the gel coat, non skid, cushions and hardware are in superb condition. I have the original invoice and owner manuals. Extras include a Mills bimini, factory bow cushion, Rule bilge pump and Raymarine fish finder. The fuel tank is a new ethanol proof Moeller plus a 6 gallon portable. Please note that the tachometer and temperture gauges are intermittantly erratic.
The 1999 engine has perfect compression, no paint work, only minor cosmetic flaws and runs like new . It spins a Laser II 20 Pitch prop and tops out at 42 MPH.
The trailer is a first class 2002 aluminum Loadmaster with torsion axles.
This rig is turn key ready to go any where and is currently located in NE Atlanta inside I 285. It may be viewed by appointment. The price is $11,500 or a near offer. I have owned a number of these classic Whalers and currently own four and this one is as good as it gets.

It's been in the low 20's at night here in Atlanta and, like the weather, the market for boats seems cool. Since no one has come forward and hauled this beauty home I will now winterize it and put it it in our warehouse and see what the Spring brings. There are worse things than owning 2 Montauks! Meanwhile it remains for sale and if someone sees it they will buy . If anyone has an interest please let me know.
Thanks,
Art
