My friend has a 1986 13 foot Supersport with a 1988 35 horse Suzuki and trailer used mostly in fresh water. Boat and engine are in good condition, needing some cleanup and some minor refinishing work on the wood. Comes with full canvas and some electronics,etc. I am interested in buying the boat and we would like to determine what a fair selling/purchase price would be for the whole package. Any information would be appreciated.

If boat is all original and in very good condition, then it could fetch as much as 7-9 grand. You mentioned that the would needed some attention. To me this usually means that the boat was well used and not always properly maintaned. I would not pay more than $5,000 for any 13' Whaler that shows signs of moderate/heavy use.

Suzuki never made a 35hp. Fair price would be between $3000-5000 depending on condition. A rat could be worth as little as a grand and a diamond as much as $7k+.
