Hi all - Trying to decide to keep this engine and put on a decent 17 Whaler....how much $$ is it worth?

One owner, 2004 Johnson 90 with controls and T&T, never in saltwater, less than 20 hours (hour meter was installed new with new motor), have all paperwork...thoughts on the motor $$ ?

Thanks, Mav

Definately worth keeping and probably worth only a few grand....hence why worth keeping.

I will probably keep it, maybe sell the pontoon boat it's on, book price is like $3300, but I doubt it would bring anywhere near that given today's market, and the winter season. Thanks, Mav

Is it one of the 4-Stroke models?

It's a 2 stroke with trim/tilt, elect start.

If you have a 17 whaler this is the perfect engine, I would jump on it and not look back...nice find

tried to reach Maverick on this space and also @ home via email, all to no avail. If anyone hears from him or her, let them know I'm interested.

Hi Bob - Sorry, I've been swamped. Please email me again on the motor, I can give you some details. Thanks, Chuck "Mav" cwweigle@hotmail.com

I goofed on the year, it's actually a 2005, not 2004, 21 hours.
