pglein	posted 11-03-2008 12:42 PM ET (US)         I know Jim discourages us from posting links to eBay auctions, but this one is mine and I just wanted to share it with you guys, since it is a tan face unit, and it does look so very nice on a Boston Whaler console. Anyway, it's item 140279489209 on www.ebay.com

pglein	posted 11-04-2008 02:38 PM ET (US)             I believe only engines made in 1996 and after have SystemsCheck, so I'm going to say probably not. If you look at the wiring harness that comes from the engine to the key, does it have individual wires that are connected to the key and accessories with screw-on crimp connectors, or does it have prefabricated plastic snap-in sockets? SystemsCheck harnesses have plastic connectors for the accessories. In the auction, there is a picture of the connector. If your harness doesn't have the complement to that connector, you won't be able to use this tach.
