If anyone is considering converting a 15' to a center console, this console works very well. I used it on my Striper. I have pictures of my conversion,if interested.

zotcha, No I don't store fuel tank or battery in the console. I have a tackle storage unit at the top and use the lower area for storage. I'll e-mail pictures to both of you.

Could you please send pics to me also. That looks like a nice console for the pice. I wonder if it would fit a 13 footer?

Ryan, I know you're looking at 15s right now, and I checked out that conversion on your iboat link. The back-to-back seating is real pretty to look at, but impractical as hell IMO. Sit an average size adult on that aft seat at cruising speeds and the poor boat's bow would be waving in the air. She'd never get onto plane. These boats crave weight forward, and no matter how nice that seating arrangement appears to be, I feel real sorry for the builder thinking about the first time he sea-trialed his boat with two people sitting like that...what a terrible disappointment that must have been.

I would love to see the Pics, I just ordered the console for my 15 but it is a little bigger so I could fit a larger fuel tank in it.

Interesting formula I've picked up along the way:

Calculating fuel capacity:

Length(in inches) X Width(") X Height(") Divided by
231 (number of cubic inches in one gallon)

Hope this helps. zotcha.
