Hi, I have no affiliation with this ad or seller but I was wondering if any of you have better luck trying to find the pics of this baby. The seller says there are 100 pictures but i have gone through his link and could not find any.

I love the lines on the Temptation and this has been on Ebay a few times. Thinking about really pursuing this boat. Anyone know if they can be fished off of and if there are rod holders?

Can anyone open it up and let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks,

You can fish off of any boat and rod holders can be mounted anywhere as well. It is a Whaler after all.

The boat is located 11 miles from your home. Why not just go take a look?

I have seen this boat on ebay many times. Something does not seem right about it, including the price. If you decide to pursue this boat, I would recommend you treat it like a normal sale. Develop a check-list, physically look at the boat and sea trial it for sure.

No problem fishing off this set-up. I have a 25' Temptation and mounted 4 rod holders. Fish, crab, and a good restaurant runner. Good Luck.

Thanks Everyone for your comments.

I like the Temptation because it is a whaler, looks very aggressive and is probably very versatile in what you can do with it.

Buoy, I do not want to take a drive over to look at this boat and waste either my time or the seller's time when I can see the boat online. I will contact the seller and see why the pictures do not come up.

Anyway, I will let you all know what I find out. The ad seems a tad odd so we'll see.

If I am still interested, I am sure I will have a bunch of questions. Hope you all can bear with me.

Thanks,

Alan

The boat has been listed for at least the last 6-8 Months. Honestly the boat is worth MAYBE 1/2 of the asking price with out seeing more images. The ad has always seemed to be sketchy to me as there is only one small image, you do not see the motors in the image, and there are all kinds of demands in the purchase outlines in the auction details.

Seeing a boat in person is never a waste of time. Period. I have driven countless miles to inspect whalers all over may area. Some I was interested in buying others I just wanted to get a look at to maybe help someone out here. Every time I have inspected a Whaler, I have walked away having learned something new about that model or Whalers in general. Inspecting a boat in person is the first step to being a SERIOUS buyer and the only way to get true sense of the vessel. No matter how good or bad the images on a computer may be, there are MANY untold stories in those images. I have seen some great looking images and the boat was nothing what I though it would be in person. While I have seen HORRIBLE images of what look to be bombed out boats but, in person they were solid boats and with a good cleaning would be great.

I live in the same village as the boat is located but cannot recognize the yard it is in. If someone can figure out an address and either post it or let me know via email I will post a few additional images for all to see.

Thanks Crabby and everyone else.

The add lists one town yet his other stuff for sale are listed in a different town. Boith towns are boating towns but are probably 30 mins from each other.

I will wait for the add to come back on ebay and will contact the seller that way. I am sure it will be back on soon. It never seems to leave ebay.

Thanks for sall your help,

Alan

I'll be in Freeport sometime this weekend shopping for a motor. If you can contact the seller and get an address I'll swing by and take a look if possible.
