Not affiliated....

Seems like a steal - kind of depressing. Hopefully someone on CW can get this one. If I had the time, I would part it out - console, rails, trailer, hull, engine, canvas.

Maybe all of our Whalers are worth 1/2 of what we think they are really worth after seeing the deals out there this week.

Darn, I wish they would go for that in the PNW.

My Montauk would love a twin sister!

Yea, double that price for Seattle.

A sign of the times, unfortunately. More to come, I believe before things turn around. Mav

For a boat that is only used twice a year and kept covered in a garage, the engine sure is faded to hell.

FYI, I called the guy and he sold the boat this morning for full price.

Yeah, Nick, and I was wondering about the size and location of the Whaler logo. Probably just switched for some reason by the owner, but I'm wondering if the hull hasn't been repainted after some troublesome repairs. That price seems too good to be true, even in this economic climate, but who knows. CW member Royce bought a very, very nice classic Outrage 18 here in pricey California (sight unseen, over the telephone from 400 miles away) with a low-hour Yamaha 150 two stroke and some decent electronics for six grand, this about five or six years ago.

Tony

Yep, for those who guessed right, it was a wife selling the boat in the midst of a messy divorce.

didn't notice the sticker but sounds like both were great buys.
