Are you looking for an original, project or complete refurb. of a pre-1988? zot.

Will look at any 15 as long as the hull is not beat up. If price reflects condition I will be interested. Not looking for a $1000 project nor a $10,000 gem just a whaler to tow the grandkids and do a little fishing from.

I lust after that leaning post. Did you design/construct it yourself, and if not can you tell me where you got it, cost, etc.

A very beautiful boat, BTW. As a relative newcomer to BW 15s--I've had mine since early August '08 and have just about exactly 100 hours on it--I'm still in a honeymoon daze about these sweeties. I've come to understand why they garner so much enthusiasm at this website from those who have owned them in the past. They handle like little sportscars and don't need a whole lot of power to move them right along; and they're surprisingly forgiving in chop...softer ride than the 16/17s in small stuff.

Good luck with your sale--some lucky dog is going to have him/herself a great way to start the new year.

Tony, the leaning post with the rocket launchers, NO seat base or pad was $300 custon built locally. It is a very secure feeling.

My new project is a 162 Scout that will handle a poling platform or half tower and be running my e-tec. And it has two livewells;o]

Next Whaler will be a tender for the trawler.

Giz - I would not flinch an inch regarding Len's 15, I've been on her, it's freaking sweet. I think he set it up they way 15s should be. It would be perfect in northern waters and I have come to the conclusion that people worry way too much about boats used in salt water. It's real nice.

Agreed. I have beeen aboard Len's 15. It is sweet and definately a fishing machine. I'm borrowing quite a few ideas in my conversion. "Sport" is now an understatement! zotcha.

There is a 1987 supersport listed on ebay that looks like a baeut. #120366216385. $6,995 or best offer. No affiliation here. The boat is in Indiana.

The SuperSport is the same one I pointed out on Chicago craigslist above - it does look nice. If I hadn't bought one already this fall I'd be all over it.

My 1986 Whaler 15 is for sale. I could meet you in Northern Ohio if that would help.

I have an 91 15 gls that I'm cvonverting to a center console. The leaning post looks like a great fit, what are the dimentions? The width looks like a great fit. I am thinking 32' is perfect.

This one has been posted every other day on craigslist here in NC for the last couple of weeks. I think his price is a bit high considering the condition. If he would come off it a grand then it might be worth a look.

Nac, I have a buyer that does not want the leaning post or the console and gas tank. The console also comes with the door assy which has the tackle system and battery switch. The leaning post is 32" wide.

Hey Len, not to start a bidding war or anything, but I'm interested in that leaning post as well (in fact, if it's for sale, maybe I get 'first bids'...see my post above). What are you asking for it?
