Looking at a 78 v20. Boat is structurally sound but weather beaten. Has a 220 yammy 86 model that runs well. owners are asking $5500. Any thoughts on the price?

Weather beaten is easy to restore with some wetsanding, buffing, decals and runbrail. Price seems fair but $4800 would be better. Trailer and or cavas?

For comparo- I bought a 76 19 revenge that was weather beaten 3 years ago with a brand new $2200 trailer and 1991 175 OMC for $5k and I think I got a good deal. Mainly due to the trailer. The engine I removed and repowered with a 115 Szuki 4S and had all my canvas custom made to my needs.

That's a very reasonable price, if the trailer is usable and you want to keep the motor. See the Magnificent V-20 thread for what I've got into my 78 Outrage V-20.

Hoosier, It's nice to see I'm not the only one to have sunk some dough into their "old girl". Eggman
