For the Inflatable Whaler,our favorite 13' or as a reserve in case of emergencies.
This Hand welded and certified aluminum gas tank will most likely outlast us in it's ruggedness and durability.
Made to be used as heavy duty item,It will come equipped with connector hose,primer valve and Merc Female outboard connector.
The inlet to hose valve is a brass pet cock type.
And so is the top vent.
Priced at $25, two for $45 US.
A must for all tool guys and serious experienced mariners.
I know that I could not resist owning one.
By the unit or by the dozen.
Pay pal availability.
Shipping quote available.

I would like to say a big thank you to
"Soggy" for having bought four units of this very collectible item.
I have sent such items to some of you before as token of my esteem and am sure that you have found these "unique" gas tanks to be "Just what the doctor's ordered" as far as your needs were.

Than You Patrick.

Well Bill,
I have taken the time and energy to wrap up the required amount of tanks, went to the post office and did get a quote requested by you.
I hope that this message will find you well.
Where ever your vacation site may be.
If uninterested please have the decency to reply.

To answer your emails guys;
These are NOT PLASTIC units and will weight with all attachments; as in hose, primer valve and Mercury, female connector;
About five pounds..
They are hand made with a thick rolled aluminum and carefully hand welded.A truly rugged design.
The outlet and vent valves are made of brass.
They were certified when new and are still a commitment to durability and functionability.
The connector valve will be stored within the carrying handle on this well thought of;
And unique design.
I hope that this will have answered most of your questions.
If not; contact me again.

Received the 4 tanks today. Really neat little tanks, and money well spent IMHO. In the factory box no less!

Looking forward to using this smaller size tank on my boats to lighten them up.

Well, Thank You kindly for the compliment.
I know that when I saw the type of quality and value here;
I could not resist in picking up a few.
I did spend the time in refreshing the Red paint and serviced all the brass and Mercury valves.
All set to go for the Merc Outboard.
But if you have a different brand of motor;
One can remove the Merc connector and put on the hose a compatible one..
And yes of course,
For those that have inquired about diesel or light oil containment;
Not a problem here;
As some of the guys have used them to couple them to bearings assemblies and use them as a lubrication container.
Also being used for pumps and generators when fishing or hunting trips deep within the sticks.
As they are rugged enough to take some punishments and are reasonably light to carry.

I have a bit of good news for Jeff today....
Your favorite all Aluminum gas tank with hose connector and primer valve has been mailed today.
I will caution you about NOT checking for it in the mail everyday.
But then again;
What's life without a little bit of anticipation.
It may take a week or ten days but I am sure that you will have fun unwrapping the package.

Glad to see that you did get the tank safe and sound.
Keep me posted if you can found out about the existing fonts on my outrage.

I've read this thread and viewed the photo, and this little tank sounds like just the ticket for a kicker motor. I've got a spot in mind to place the tank. Would you please be so kind to send the length, width, and height measurements? Also, shipping quote to 46030?

Many thanks in advance.

I can tell everyone first hand these are neat little tanks. The one I have will perfectly meet my needs attached to a 9.9 Merc on the back of my childrens BW 11' inflatable.

This certified and hand crafted 2.5 GAl thick aluminum Tank is;
Height with Handle 12 1/4".
Casing: 9 3/4" height.
Width: 7 1/4".

As far as shipping I would guess that $25.would cover the shipping costs.
Thirty minutes of wrapping and materials for free.

And since that Jim is actually the first one to be the recipient of one of those little collector's item;
I will suggest that they are an actual good luck charm for all serious boaters;
And will also be ever ready to perform their duties.
If to be taken on board;
I would suggest that a tie down sinch strap should be securing the tank to the deck.

Thanks Jim;
The quote for shipping to Indiana for one unit should be about $25 to $30.
I hope that this has helped in making this unique acquisition a reality.
