Hi All:

Anyone have a main power harness for a CMC PL-65 Jack Plate which they would be willing to part with? OEM p/n is 7014.

Finally taking Bigshots advice on getting one of those rascals on my Nauset.

Thanks...

Should not be too hard to rig it yourself. They are pretty simple in electronics and use a generic relay that you can buy at any truck stop. Works on the same principle as a 3 wire PTnT unit so you could probably modify one of those as well.

King:

Looks like we'll need 2 relays, an inline fuse, and a circuit breaker. I spoke with Josh up at CMC and he told me that the relays & CB sell for $10.75 each. The relays will still need their housings(?) which CMC does not sell. I guess we need some pics form a forum member for close ups and actual p/ns of the relays and CB so we can cross reference them.

Anyone out there that can help us??

CMC has some diagrams etc. on their website but they are too damn small for any detailed interpretation.

Thanks...

special shout to Biggie......

I sold mine a couple months ago. Len(an86carrera) still has his CMC jackplate which should use the same setup. Mine was a 3 wire system that is not any different than an OMC PTnT harness and relay switchbox. The main mod would be a power and ground cable but the rest is basically the same. Power-up relay-down relay...simple setup.
