MattInSanDiego	posted 03-06-2009 12:56 PM ET (US)             I bought this motor from a gentleman in LA about five years ago for my 13’ Whaler. The motor only had 15 hours on when I bought it. When I got the motor back to San Diego I realized that I made a stupid rookie mistake. I bought a 15” motor for a 20” transom. My solution was to build a functional, but ugly, motor mount for it. I’m glad that SurfingDog corrected my mistake by placing a 20” motor on this great boat. It’s a hell of a nice Whaler and deserves the correct setup. I have not had the pleasure of ever communicating with SurfingDog. But I can say that the motor he is selling never let me down. It was strong and dependable. And it would be a great fit for an older 13 with a 15” transom. It's worth every penny of the asking price. -Matt
