I just purchased my very first Whaler (a 1977 15 Sport). My Whaler came with an aftermarket center console and I am attempting to find the original. In looking at a 1984 Whaler magazine I have discovered that my boat is not the one that is designed for a center console as it does not have the feeder tubes to run the electrical from the engine to the center console. Because I do a lot of fishing I would rather keep a center console, but I want to restore my Whaler to as close to classic as I can. Any suggestions on where I could get ahold of one? I am also in need of two gas tank pads so that I can put two six gallon tanks instead of the huge one that came with it. I think my only other need is an anchor locker door (orginal wood) as the person I bought it from used a cut out piece of plywood for a door.

Mick (runpasthefence) has access to a couple OEM 15' center consoles. I think his are sold but he still has a one or two that he was selling for a friend.

Jeff, do you think that Nautical Lumber could make a "near OEM" one?

David,

This has been something Mike and I have talked about. He seems interested in molding a fiberglass Classic Style Standard (Montauk) Consoles. Since the 15 console is just a Standard console with a section removed at the bottom it should be not a problem. The big problem is getting him a console to mold off of.
