I'm considering buying a 13' 89 GLS (not sure if this is an actual series, couldn't find anything on the internet but he said it was a "special GLS version" Whaler). In BUC condition and almost complete factory condition.
Powered with a 40 hp evinrude, oil injection, tilt and trim. Trailor Also comes with a BUC condition or little worse. He saying his bottom dollor is 4200. Deal or No Deal?....Steal or no steal? Just wanted to see how my opinion stacks up to others. Thanks for your input!

Not a great deal but not a rip off. I bought a 94 with 40hp in medium to good condition, motor worked great for $3000. It was a friend of a friend and probably would have been worth a little more. If the motor runs great than not too bad.

That is a fair price depending on what BUC condition means. A nice 89 is worth anywhere from $3k-$7k ddepending on shape.

BUC is a used boat pricing guide. The boat seems to be in really good condition with 16 gal. built in gas tank and fiberglass console insert.

I would say that puts it in the $4-5k range if really good.
