WTB. I am looking for either teak/mahogony or plastic horizontal rod racks to mount on starboard side of my 08 Montauk 170 to store rods, paddle, gaff. Any ideas, suggestions? Not that I want to drill the 1st holes in my new boat but I need storage space. Are there any other ways of mounting the racks without screws that will not mess up the gelcoat?

John,

Give Mike at Nautical Lumber a call. He makes teak ones for the Outrage and he also can make ones from StarBoard. If you want custom ones give him a drawing and he can do it. I have seen rail mount ones that would save you from drilling.

Found my images. Could you do something like this? It may still need screws though.

Wow! Those are beautiful. I would want openings on side of holes for easy access and to hold items other than rods, but that is the idea. Thank you

Andy,

No I do not and they are not an item Mike currently stocking though he could. I saved these images from a for sale ad I found online. I just thought they would make a great product so I saved them to pass along.
