These are the 3 hook originals, in mahogany plywood w/solid mahogany blocking, removed from "Whale Lure" 16 years ago. They are beautifully finished (by me) with 10 coats of high gloss varnish, fitted with upgraded SS hardware using fender washers and trim rings to protect the varnish finish. One rack for each side, mounting screws included. Under-gunnel aluminum angle clips not included. Photos available by this weekend.

$79 to your door in the 48.

I'm interested if you can't connect with Geronimo. Cash? Paypal? Check in the mail? Let me know.

Thanks,

Larry, I'd buy them from you in heartbeat, but I already purchased a set of restorable rod racks from another forum member. Considering the labor I've got into the restoration, your price is a steal. If you post the photos, can you include the detail on the aluminum angle? Thanks.

Geronimo contacted by E-mail, and waiting for confirmation of sale.

Andy. I don't have any detailed information of the aluminum clips that hold these in place under the gunwale. The boat is in FL right now, and I'm not, unfortunately! But it's a simple detail, easy to duplicate. I'd guess they are 1 x 1 x 1/8 angle, cut about 1" long. 2 required, and one leg of each angle through bolts thru the side gunwale board, the other legs through the top of the rod rack.

Larry, thanks for the info, that should be enough detail for me.

Finally, 2 photos, in case anybody wanted to see what they looked like:

Matt is now first in line for these. I will confirm sale if he goes ahead. He is planning on using them in a 22, and I do believe they are same, although the 22 required four, while the 25 only required two.

JCBII - I just emailed Mike at Nautical Lumber about making some of these. I included a pic of the ones offered/sold by L H G - Mike should be getting back to me in a day or so. If you have already been in contact with him let me know-My thinking is if we can get several pair made they it might be more cost effective,

Thanks,
Cliveous Ogg

Tomorrow, I am packing these up for shipment to Matt. If Mike at Nautical needs a full size tracing for his reproductions, let me know as I can do it for him. As I said, these are original equipment items for my 1989 25 Outrage.

I have not already contacted Mike @ Nautical. I'm all for "cost effective"; let him know I'm interested in a total of 4.

Larry,
My buddy needs a set for his Revenge but he is too cheap to buy them so I was going to make a set for him. Could you please send me a tracing? Is it 3/4 inch plywood?

Larry,

I know Mike has a pattern but, it would be helpful if you could trace them anyway just in case. Also, if you could provide details on the Aluminum angle clips as well it would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Jeff
