This harness was new in 1983, with red connector plug at the engine end, and brand new push-to-choke key switch (2 new keys) and safety lanyard, and temp warning horn. Barely used, like new, 20' long. Has leads for tach. I understand it can be used on any OMC 2-stroke, 225 HP and down. Photos available soon.

$75 to your door in the 48.

If Larry sells, I have a couple as well. I also have some VRO tanks for anyone interested.

Still available. The reason for brand new key switch, incidentally, a $25 cost, was that the boat had been unused for so long that the seller had lost the keys, and the servicing dealership had none in stock that fit.

Larry-

Will this work for a 1985 Johnson 90 V4 that has a keyed ignition but no safety lanyard presently?

Thanks!

G

Lizard - I'm no OMC expert as you know, but I believe it will, since it was originally installed as new equipment for a 1983 Johnson 70. Maybe one of our OMC experts here will know for sure. The kill switch can be left behind the dash, and not used if not wanted. It clips on to a push button affair, and keeps the button depressed so that the engine runs.

I sent you an e-mail 4 days ago, but did not hear back, so I assumed you were no longer interested.

Larry -sorry, having trouble with my email account. I am actually interested in having the safety lanyard, as my current ignition does not have one. If one of the OMC regulars here can comment on its portability to my set up, that would be great.

Larry-

Received by in-laws. Thanks.

I have never had a safety lanyard and I am pleased about the added feature. I will be with the boat in a few weeks and will let you know how the install goes.
