13 Boston Whaler 1999 40hp Yamaha 4 stroke.
13 Boston Whaler 1976 hull in very good condition. Both wooden seats were replaced 2 years ago with 5/4 by 12 old growth Mahogany. Rear bench has two swivel "boat seats" mounted to it. The helm is in great condition also. The boat has always been kept on a trailer or lift and under cover. The gelcoat still has a very nice shine on the outside and the non-slip interior surface is in very good condition.

The motor is a Sept 1999 Yamaha 40 hp 4-stroke long shaft with power trim and tilt and new prop, initially installed on pontoon boat in Summer 2000 per dealership. The motor was purchased used from a dealership in the Northeast and was always used in fresh water. Reported to have low hours due to the short boating season up there and condition of motor reinforces this. The motor was purchased used in the spring of 2008 with new controls. The engine runs very strong and easily pulls skiers and tubes.

The boat has the following:
-1999 40hp 4 stroke Yamaha
-bimini top
-new controls for motor
-new helm, steering wheel and steering cable
-humminbird "wide eye" fishfinder
-transom-mounted folding steps
-custom canvas boat cover
-full height transom, not cut out like some 13 whalers
-Murray trailer-replaced in fall 2008: tires, axle, leaf springs, bearings and bunk board brackets. Wiring for lights could be replaced but really never needed being pulled behind my Suburban.

The only reason I'm selling it is because I now have 4 children and the boat is too small for the entire family to go out in and a friend of mine has a 22 whaler that I'm going to buy.

I think the boat is worth every penny of $4500 but I'm anxious to get it sold so I can get the bigger boat in time for summer.

Sept 1999 would make that a 2000 year engine I do believe.

Thanks Biggun, I just didn't want anyone to think I was misrepresenting the engine. Hey guys, this is a bullet proof boat and motor. I wouldn't be selling it but the wife won't let me have two boats. A good friend is holding a 22 Outrage for me .......
