Motor was on a 14 Dauntless, took it off to put a 60 on.
Boat was always lift/trailer kept, never left in the water.

Some very minor scuffs on the cowling, other then that it is CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN.

Comes with no rigging, just whatever prop is on it.
Prefer local pick up to Lindenhurst, New York, 11757 but I do have a Mercury shipping crate.

Asking $1900.

Lets hope I got the hang of posting some pictures

It is 20" shaft and please read his initial post which explains what comes with the engine.

20" shaft

electric start, power trim and tilt.
not a tiller model, pictures show alot of detail one might need.

It is just the motor, no cables, no gauges, no controls.
You should be able to use your existing rigging unless you dont have any at all, ebay, craigslist, and forums can usually lead you to everything else you might need for a very reasonable cost.

I question how a 13' Whaler would perform with a 20" shaft. Anyone have experience?

All 13's from 1973 to present run 20" shafts so there are a lot of experienced owners out there. My 13 with a 40 will run high 30's on a VERY calm day.
