I'm going to have my Montauk re-wired including the following:

Navigation Lighting
Bilge pump
Install GPS/FF
Install VHF and Antenna
Move the battery under the console
Blue Sea systems fuse block

What would you expect to pay? Alternatively what would you charge?

I would proffer a decent install would take 5 hrs if care was taken to careful routing and securing the wires neatly. The average shop rate is $80-$120 plus the cost of the materials.

I didn't pay anything, I did it myself with lots of help from this forum on both my Montauk in 2003 and Outrage 17 in 2007.

The best way to become "one" with your boat is to do the work yourself.

I don't think you can put a value on doing it yourself. You'll know exactly what every wire is for, where it connects, and how to troubleshoot.

It's not that difficult of a job
