Eagle 18 Dauntless Boat Trailer. I am selling a used single axle white boat trailer originally made by Eagle for a 18’ Whaler Dauntless / Ventura. VIN #4JEBS181XX1230327. Model #S18-30B. It has an overall length of 244 in, with a GVWR of 3,700 lbs, carrying capacity of 3085 lbs, and hydraulic surge brakes. It is 94” from outside of fender to outside of fender and 76” from inside of fender to inside of fender but the boat sits over the fenders. It features ST205/75R14 load range C tires and a 2” diameter coupler ball. The trailer does have a few scrapes from handling, and there is one small plastic hub cap missing.
Note: Buyer will need to arrange for own freight.
Eagle explains the Model number as follows: S-18-30-B means Series S (Special Edition), Boat Length 18’, Capacity 30 (3,000 lbs) Suspension B (single axle with brakes). Original “owner’s packet “ included, which has Owner’s Manual for model A-60 hydraulic brake, Eagle Trailer Owner’s Manual, Brake Lockout Kit, and Operation Maintenance Service Manual.
Michigan does not require a title for trailers, but by signing the License Plate Registration (included) the Buyer can avoid the requirement to have the trailer weighed before applying for a new license plate.
I will post a link to a picture if there are any follow up comments / interest.

While it is a painted trailer which limits appeal, I can say nothing pulls or handles a boat like an eagle trailer. Made locally here in SE Michigan, their trailers are fully welded boxed tubing and pull a load so very well.

Over the years I've had a bunch of trailers, for boats and otherwise.
I special ordered an Eagle with a number of options and it was, by far, the best boat trailer I've owned.
The quality of materials and workmanship were superb. The design was great and I echo what Jeff says regarding how they tow.
In my opinion, they are the best!
