Hey, just wanted to see if anyone from NE was headed down south and had room on there truck or trailer.
I am getting 3 yamaha 70 motors from Jerry and need them shipped.
He sugested,
I will check them out but wanted to check here first on CW and to at least get some sugestions and helpfull advice before I get it done. Jerry is having a boat shop take them off his boat and packing them carefully and should be ready later this week if all goes well.

If they are NIB would suggest Had three similar sized motors shipped in December from west coast to coastal GA for less than $300 picked them up at the local terminal.

They are used with rigging, not sure how they will be boxed or crated. When they are then I will have a better idea of what it will take. Thanks for the pricing, that is something I can get a idea about what it might cost.

I just used U-Ship, its pretty pain free.
You will want pictures of the engines in thier crates to get accurate quotes, I guess it tells the shippers if the item is secure to ship or not.

FYI- I paid about $200 to ship a engine from Long Island New York to Florida, I forget which part of Florida but I remember the mileage being ALOT. Door to door too, not terminal drop off.

Thanks! Since NC is half way between FL and NY it should be cheaper but I do have 3 motors to ship with rigging. I will let everyone know how it goes when it goes.

Well it looks like I got a good deal on
$255 to ship 3 yamaha 70's with rigging and stuff on two pallets from NY to NC. Fist bid was like $375 and I thought that was good but waited bit and asked a few questions and bam lower prices arrived.
Now if it just works out ok it will be worth it.
