A cool looking classic. I've never seen one out here on the west coast. It looks like that decking forward offers decent storage below as well as the opportunity to stretch out an ensolite pad and a sleeping bag, which would make it sweet for occasional gunk-holing. The one downside which may exist--I really can't tell--would be the loss of the craft's ability to swiftly shed green water taken aboard in lumpy seas.The Hobie skiffs, now unfortunately discontinued, offered the same sort of deck design. Nice boat, and the price is fair if she's in decent condition. Tony |
