4 whalers, a 20ft pontoon boat, a 24 ft boat for the swamp tours, the 36ft trawler and 5 kayaks have finally beat me down. I would like to sell the Montauk without power or controls. The boat is in decent shape and the Caulkins trailer is in ok shape. I do have the old 70 evinrude and controls that could be included. The boat is not a show piece, just a good old boat that can be used everyday. I will have pics posted by the end of the week. $3200 for the boat and trailer, another $400 gets you the old motor and controls. Email me for more info. I am in South Mississippi and would help with delivery the first few hundred miles. |

I have decided if someone wanted the boat with the 2007 60hp E-tec the price would be $7500 |

Maybe I should have called it a 1967 Montauk and got mad when I was told they didn't make a Montauk in 67. Sounds like that worked on the 72 Revenge. |

It is overpowered and underpriced! ;) Now that should get you some action. |

There are more pictures posted at the link above. Please explain is it overpowered with or without the 60 Aside from the power and price, this is the boat that I moved the console back 21 inches, but both the steering and control cables were not changed so, a couple of hours work and it's back to original. |

It is a good boat for the person looking for this specific model. Too bad that You and Larry are so far away. I would have enjoyed viewing the unit; And to perhaps; Have made an offer. I am sure that this special someone has an eye on this one. |

I would be interested in the boat without the motor. I would come out to get the boat from ca. but the price would have to come down alot. what would be your lowest price? Greg |

If I didn't have one now, that one would work for me, I think my 1976 Newport will last forever tho.. |

People usually take offers more seriously when the offer and negotiations take place outside a public forum. Calling them works well and showing up with funds in hand tends to work the best. If you follow the link in his profile you could find a contact phone number. |

Thanks Jeff for your opinion, but I don't think we have made it to the negotiation stage yet. |
