posted 11-06-2009 01:08 PM ET (US)         I'm changing out motors on my 1982 Outrage 18. This is the original outboard and an extra-long (25 inch) shaft. Compression was 110 - 115 when last checked. It has been maintained with new impeller, thermostats, plugs etc. I've only owned it for the last couple of years. It has been in salt water for part of its life. You have to mix oil and gas, and the paint is faded. The positive news is it comes with a good stainless prop, starts, runs, shifts, and idles well. It's off my boat now. $1100 obo. Thanks. Dave
