Looking to buy an auxillary motor mount for a 1984 Super Sport 15. Thanks.

As far as I know, you are going to have to make your own or have one made. It has to be offset 45 degrees becuase of the shape of the transom. I have seen plans and pictures here, maybe jimh can tell you how to find them. I built one for my bass boat that had a similar shape transom, by looking at the pictures. I used a piece of aluminum 10" by 8" aluminum channel that I cut at 45 degrees, mounted it horizontal on the transom, and bolted a mahogany motor board to the outside flange. Had a gusset plate welded from to bottom of the flange to the bottom of the web for extra strength.

Thank you for the suggestion. I actually have a copy of the auxillary mount design with dimensions. I thought that someone might have a used one available.
Thanks again and good luck to you.

I have one which is still mounted on my 15 and not being used. If I purchase the boat I am considering then it could be for sale. what are they worth to make?

I'm not really sure what it would cost to fabricate an auxillary mount. If yours is in good condition and you decide to sell it, I would pay $50 plus shipping. Please reply if that is fair and we can coordinate payment and shipping. Thank you.
