Normally when I read "restored" I'm a bit cautious, but it appears to be a BEAUTIFUL boat.

What all was done during your restoration?

I purchased in 05... it's overall condition at that time was 5-6/10 (IMHO). After a Summer of use, I determined that it needed some TLC. After reading so much on CW I determined that for safety sake, I need to replace the fuel tank. One thing led to another and it became a total restoration (bronze thru-hull tubes, rub rail, teak gunwales, cushions, even all new stainless steel screws throughout (my wife now thinks I'm OCD - I got that from a recent posting, but it fits). Thanks to many like Sue at Twin Cities Marine, Lois Hall, Tom Clark, and others. I'm very proud of the finished product. I think it compares favorably to a new boat and this may be one of the finest hull designs ever!

This boat looks beautiful to me, and an absolute BARGAIN at that price. Somebody will snap it up quickly I would think, especially when one compares the price to what these new Whalers of the same size are selling for.

Having spent time on this boat, I can attest, it is as nice in person as it looks in the pictures. Anyone seriously looking for a nice 18' Outrage should consider this one.

Very nice 18! Isn't this the year Optimax's were notorious for having serious problems and ended up in a class action lawsuit?

SOLD! - Tony and Trish, thanks so much. I know you'll love it and I'm glad it'll be on Lake Chelan. It'll stay beautiful for years to come.

Jack,

Congrats on the sale. I knew the first buyer seriously considering an 18 Outrage couldn't pass on this one. What a fantastic boat. Good luck on the "dark side" with the new boat...

John
