Description:
A Classic Outrage 18, in very good condition, re-powered and ready to go. Boat was purchased in approximately 2004 from CW Forum member Russ, and repowered and otherwise “fixed up” in 2007. Selling due to lack of use (see hours above). This boat has been dry-stored and does not have bottom paint. The boat has been regularly waxed / detailed, and the Teak is in overall good condition, always treated with Daly’s Sea-Fin Teak Oil.

The boat is located in Marin County, CA (just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco Bay Area). With prior notice, it can be inspected in person or taken for a water test.

Items to note:
This boat has the “older” style console (see photos)
This boat suffers from two well documented whaler issues; neither are serious nor effect safety or performance from my standpoint, but in the spirit of full disclosure :
a) It has a touch of the “wavy sides” appearance, and
b) It has two soft spots in the floor in the normal locations. These spots have not changed during my 5 years of ownership.

Email Matt Frymier (mfrymier@yahoo.com) with any questions or to arrange a viewing. I travel a decent amount so please be patient. I will take pictures over the weekend and post them as soon as possible.

Asking $18000

Almost forgot: Also, boat has a 4" CMC Jackplate and the prop is a 14.25 X 17 Turbo/Stiletto Propeller. The boat was tuned for performance by none other than Rob Schmidt (ratherwhalering)

This baby has my seal of approval for restoration and maintenance.

Unfortunatly, I won the restoration contest:

A couple more updates:

1) I now have pics available. I will have Ratherwhalering post them as soon as he can on my behalf

2) I neglected to mention that the trailer has a lockable dock box attached. The trailer also has "ramp guides" which are currently not attached to the trailer.

3) According to my iCommand instruments, the Engine has 116 hours on it. I had the water pump / impeller replaced last year during it's service visit.

Thanks everyone for the interest!

If she's not sold by then, think about bringing that absolute beauty to the NorCal rendezvous coming up the third weekend in May, Matt, and you might get a bite. And if she is sold, bring your own bad self and we'll find a ride for you.

This boat is still available. Just had it washed...ready to go for spring!
It's a good setup for someone who wants a "classic" whaler, yet has the modern reliability and convenience of an environmentally friendly newer engine...

I have not listed the boat anywhere else, because to be honest, I would like her to go to an enthusiast.

Make me a reasonable offer!
