Author Topic:   Potential trade - Super Console/T-top for Montauk console

I'm negotiating with a fellow on a late 1980s Outrage that has both a Super Console and a T-top. I want neither, and would want to put in a standard console. I want floor space and lots of space to move around. I know the Super Consoles are popular for storage, but I'd be moving to this boat from a Striper 15 so it already has tons of storage space. We are moving to it partly for its vastly greater people capacity and want to maximize open space.
The boat is in the East, as am I. I'm in Roanoke VA (24014) and my contact details are in my profile.
The boat was kept under cover until the T-Top was installed around 2007, and has largely been stored inside since then. The T-top was custom made for the console. It is a nice setup.
I would consider an even trade for a complete standard/Montauk console in very good or better condition. Potentially a great deal for you if you have one and want a bigger console/T-top.
I should know if the deal concludes by the end of next week.

What size Outrage?

I have a standard OEM console for a 22 Outrage, in Desert tan.
Would you be interested in a console of that size.
I am thinking of installing a larger console in the 22.

I'm a little confused. Will you have a T Top for an Outrage?
I have an 18 Outrage and am looking for a T top that will fit. I don't have an extra center console though.

Can you get some pix?

Looks like the purchase is not going to happen (at least for now) as we are apart by about 20%.
I appreciate the interest and will advise if it changes. I don't think the seller will get his mid-20k range bottom line, but he is confident he will.
