If anybody is interested and looking for a great 20" shaft kicker for a Montauk through 25 Outrage, my Mercury dealer (in Suburban Chicago) has this beautiful, 100% fresh water, one owner, almost like new and barely used, ELECTRIC START, 50-to-1 pre-mix engine for sale. Includes a new 3.5 gallon Moeller tank and new primer bulb fuel hose. Price is $890.
The engine has a white top cowling and the rest is silver/blue. The engine has been checked out and runs perfectly, factory spec compression on both cylinders.
Has prop pitched for kicker use.
I can get actual photos the next time I am over there, but it looks just like this catalog photo, literally:

I'll respond by email to any interested parties and get you in touch with the dealer. He has Merc/Yamaha engine shipping boxes and can ship if needed.

Forgot - Also has original owners operating Manual and full Evinrude factory Service and Repair Manual.

I called my Dealer this morning to tell him of "tump line's" interest, and he told me the engine was SOLD to a walk-in customer on Saturday morning!

If anyone is interested I have a 1996 9.9 Evinrude long shaft electric start.
With no hours. I purchased it new to use as a kicker and never installed it.
Can be seen in Ma or NJ.
