Found this long shaft on craigs list, http://panamacity.craigslist.org/boa/1834647706.html I do not need one, but for the price they are asking, should be worth shipping it to you.

Really? "found this long shaft on craigslist." ? Then the thread content even gets better. Lots of people find short and long shafts of all kinds on craiglist. Seriouly, if you are going to take the time to post put some actual and meaningful thought and DETAIL into what you are trying to direct people to. |

Actually, a favor was all I was trying to do. I know decent used long shafts are hard to come by. At least here in NW Florida. To put a kicker on my Katama, I ended up buying a seized up long shaft engine, and moved the lower end to a regular shaft engineIf I remember the craigslist correctly, it was a 4hp Yamaha, reported to run great for 185.00 In this area that was a pretty good deal. Maybe I should have mentioned more about the listing, but I figured I said long shaft, if anyone needed a long shaft engine, they could check it out, or just ignore it. Take care Ocean31

Thanks for posting the lead. I would be looking for a kicker but I have spent too much this year on my whaler. Maybe next year or the next. |

ocean31, thank you for posting this, "Long shaft" and the address was enough for me. I missed out on the other one mentioned the other day. |
