posted 07-11-2010 10:37 PM ET (US)         1975 13' Boston Whaler sport Sourpuss edition ( actually designated by Whaler in '75; includes wrap around stainless bars behind seats and seat covers). With 1998 Mercury/tracker 50hp -----IN photos boat had just returned from a run on the Mississippi river I quickly hosed out some sand and got the seat covers a little wet, this is water not stains-- - Boat restored 2 years ago, all mahogany refinished with at least 8 coats of marine varnish, and is in perfect shape. - Hull was in very good condition it was buffed and some minor gel-coat repairs completed, it is in excellent shape for its age. - Boat completely rewired, mercury tachometer, horn, new lighting and radio installed, very neat -New 16" stainless prop - Engine runs perfectly and is fast with the 16" SS prop it jumps out of the water and easily goes 35+mph with 2 people, could go faster with a steeper prop. The motor is a 1998 tracker made by Mercury Marine simply a re-branded merc. for the largest boat maker in the world. -power trim ! do not buy a 13 footer without -Neat ipe wood rack that organizes the gas tank (new 12 gallon), battery box , life jackets, anchor etc. -Trailer is very sturdy, not rusty but could use a fresh coat of paint, wiring works and I often take it across the state. The best part is this rig could be towed by almost any car, I cannot feel it behind my old Subaru. -Original seat covers in great shape (as far as i can tell) Unfortunately, I need to sell this neat boat to finish the remodel on our farm house. I would be more than happy to do a sea trial with a serious cash in hand buyer. You will not be disappointed.
