Purchased this boat 10 years ago and it has been sitting since this past summer. Hull was in pretty good shape when purchased. Throughout the restoration I found no sign of water in the hull. Two men can pick the boat up and flip it. I could not watch it sit any more and took it on this past summer. Unfortunately I am out of time and enthusiasm. Work completed to date: 1. Long galvanized trailer. New tongue coupler, winch, runners, lights, galvanized axle, leaf springs, tires, and hardware. 2. Hull cleaned, flaired, repaired and sanded. 3. Bottom - 5 coats interlux 2000E and two coats Interlux VC offshore white. There is no antifoul in the VC offshore but the boat can stay in the water for prolonged periods due to the system used. 4. Topside has been primed with interlux primecoat epoxy. Need to complete twp more coats. 5. Original wood refurbished with 5 coats Interlux Schooner varnish. I have most of the receipts from the project. I ridiculously have right at $1000 in supplies, paint, and replacement parts. The boat still needs a rub rail ($180) and to be top side painted. Boat has been titled in South Carolina and assigned a new hull id number. I did not paint over the original number.
Asking price is $1600 |
