Came across this listing for a project Outrage on Detroit Craigslist that may be of interest to members: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/boa/2157314854.html |

Wow... as soon as it gets to be summer, that's a $1000 boat, easy... ;-) Dave . |

It has been for sale for well over 12 months now. It actually was last listed at $4500 so, I what why the price increase? I totally agree with Dave, at best it is a $1000 - $1500 boat. |

A '94 18' hull would have to be a Guardian, not an Outrage, as the hull is clearly not the recreational Outrage 19 II (note transom configuration). It's shocking to hear you guys say how little a stripped Guardian is worth. Hull soaking wet? |

Larry The hull is not a Guardian hull at all. That is not a 19 II transom either, it is standard notched transom chainsawed down to fit a 20" shaft motor. There are multiple areas of poor fiberglass repairs as well to boot. The boat also has has wood gunwales which also signals that it is not a 1994. Considering Dave sold his 18' hull that was in FAR better condition with a FAR better trailer for $2500 or less I doubt this boat is going to fetch anything close to the asking price. |

OK Jeff. So it is misrepresented as being a new hull in 1994? That makes sense. It would have to '91 or older. |

Larry, I was not trying to be snarky, just pointing out what I have seen in past CL posting. |
