Any suggestions on the value of this whaler sitting on a 1989 trailer with no engine. I would rate the boat and trailer as a 6 with no extra electronics and the only canvas is a bimini top. It is a fresh water boat. Have never been on this model and wonder how it would stack up against my 18 outrage.

V-20 Revenges and very tough to sell. No only do people shy away from them because of V-20 Hull design but the cabin is no really suitable for much more than a storage area. While I would not give the V-20 hull as bad of rap as most I still would not say a V-20 is going to bring much money.

I looked at one a year ago that while dirty from sitting in a barn and the teak needed oiling it was a very solid hull. It had no large scratches, cracks or areas of damage on the gel coat. All of the OEM hardware was there and intact. It had a 1983 175 Evinrude that while old checked out to be a very strong motor. It also had a good bit of canvas, no bottom paint and a new trailer. The seller was asking $6000 for over two years without any interest. With a wash, waxing, refinishing of the teak and a few details cleaned up the boat would have been a solid 9 of 10.

When I was back in West Michigan this past December I got in contact with the seller to see if he still had the boat. He had just sold it to the first person to make an offer in over 2 years. It went for $2500.
