I have a 1991 Galvanized Calkins trailer for sale.
It is a bunk trailer. 3 New Bridgestone trailer radials were installed in 2006 . New bearings with bearing buddy were also added then. Newer ball coupler, tail lights have been added. Fulton heavy duty dolly is also included.

email me directly if you would like photos.

Trailer is in nice shape for a 1991. Tribute to the galvanization process!

I can let you take possession in 3 weeks as the new trailer I have ordered is on the way.

I would like to get $1,000

Thanks Whalerdude.

Is this too big for a Outrage 17? Very interest if close.

I'm in West Mich - please send photos to my email.

Thanks!!

With some shifting back of the winch post it would likely work just fine Pete.

Pete:

I think the trailer might adapt to your needs nicely. Just sent you an email separately as this trailer (and Jack's boat) belonged to me prior to this past Saturday. It is heavy duty and I would think the size should be alterable for a 17.

I'm close to west Michigan. I'm in Lake Bluff IL. I could meet you halfway!
I will send some photos tomorrow.

I just bought from Chesapeake. He has everything in good order.

Keep me in mind if you still have it. I have a '92 19' Outrage. What kind of brakes?

The trailer does NOT have brakes. It feels ok towing it without brakes.

I have a mid sized SUV and it tows easily with it.

Unfortunately for me, a trailer w/GVw > 3,000lbs needs brakes in MI.

Sorry.
regarding brakes, do you like ELECTRIC or Surge brakes?

I was shopping trailers and the people at Loadmaster trailers strongly recommend electric brakes.

Sounds good but I was wondering if I would have to add a controller to my car.

Do you have any opinion?

A controller for the vehicle is $70 and you can install in under an hour.

I like electric brakes way better than surge brakes, as you can activate them manually to tame a swaying trailer, and you can adjust the braking force.
