For Sale is my 1988 Boston Whaler SSL. The boat is powered with its original 100 HP Mercury Mariner which is in good running order. I have had the boat for three years and have not had any problems with it. The engine is mechanically sound and the boat looks good. It pulls a water skier/ wake-boarder with no problem. The super sport limited model is quite rare and is built on the Montauk hull. It has a capacity of seven passengers which is large for a boat this size, but unlike the Montauk, there is actually seating for seven. It is equipped with two bench seats which offer plentiful storage and a lockable “rear clam shell” cover which offers even more storage. The boat also has no teak which means there is no maintenance that goes along with having teak. This model was made from 1987 until 1991 so there are not many out there. The boat handles quite well for a 17 footer in most sea conditions. It is equipped with a humming bird fish finder, depth sounder, speedometer, and water temperature meter as well as an auto bilge pump. The boat comes with an anchor, 4 life jackets, flares, and a fire extinguisher. The boat has its original navigation lights and they are in good working order. I also installed a Ritchie Compass last year. It is also equipped with a built in fuel tank with a lockable fuel fill as opposed to the normal tanks you have to pull off and put back on the boat. The fuel capacity is 18 gallons and there is spare room in the bilge if you wish to add an extra 5 gallon tank if more capacity is required. The fuel tank install was professionally done before I purchased the boat. The boat just received a fresh coat of bottom paint and a wax job. I had a custom console cover made two years ago to protect the upholstery and instrument cluster. This is in excellent condition as is the bimini top and its cover. Last year I purchased a new bow cushion from Whaler which has only been on the boat a few times. The boat also comes with a gray storage cover which covers the entire boat. The trailer is original to the boat and is in good serviceable condition. I towed it to Chincoteague, VA from Harford County twice in the last two years and have had no issues. This boat is fuel efficient and ready to go for the season. I have titles for both the boat and the trailer. Asking Price is $8,000 and the boat is located in Kingsville, Maryland.
