Back when we did group buys for the limited production run of the OEM red rub rail insert and receiver tracks I bought 72' of both which would give me enough to redo my Newport twice, or a single 19, 21 or 22 hull if I got one. I am trying to clear all kinds of stuff out of my garage for the impending listing of my house and have these coils just taking up space. I am considering selling half of what I have (36' of the red rub rail and receiver track) which would do a 17' Newport hull or possibly an other 17' Whaler if you chose. The coils I have are a continuous 72' feet so, I would be just cutting them in half to sell.

I am only willing to sell both the insert and track as a complete package.

I am looking for $500obo for these items. You can not source these items anymore without doing large runs from the manufacture (500' minimums) and all of the retailers that bought runs during the group buys to sell not longer have stock. If you are interested email myself at the address in my profile.

Thanks,
Jeff

This is a great chance to buy this setup as your only other choice is a black insert and maybe a tad cheaper. If you want OEM red...go for it! The Newport rubrail is different and not the same $169 kit as the other 17 hulls.

FYI--They will not fit other 17's correctly as they are about 1/2 wider than the other 13-17 rail and only 2 piece instead of 3. Does not mean it won't fit but it won't fit right.

Bigs- which part is 1/2" wider? Does a Montauk reciever channel work on a Newport?

No, the Montauk receiver does not work on the Newport. In section view the Newport receiver is 1/2" taller in profile that what is used on the other 17' hulls.

It looks like I have sold my house and I am cleaning out my garage for the move. If you are interested in these please contact me via email and lets talk.

Here are images of the full roll I have. At this time I am only willing to sell 1/2 of the roll which is enough to do a 17 (once). There is enough overall to do a 17 (twice), 19(once), 21 (once) or 22(once). If you want the whole roll I would sell it off but, it would take an outstanding offer.
