I have a VRO tank for a 1985 Johnson 90, E90TLCOS model #.

It came with my Montauk, with the prior owner stating it worked but he removed it because of the history of reported VRO failures. I have no use for it.

Everything pictured on the Evinrude parts site, with the exception the underside mounting bracket, appears to be here. The gasket below the pick up may need replacement. The prior owner kept it in a battery box, which I have discarded, as it was cracked and filthy, but contained it nicely.

I would gladly pass it along for free, for the cost of packaging and shipping.

I'm in. If you are in San Diego, my mother is up in Carlsbad. Or we can arrange shipping up to Santa Barbara. Thanks,
Peter

pcrussell- Excellent! I did not want to throw this out, but have been confronted with collecting way too much here and given some marching orders to clean up shop.

If you are heading down to Carlsbad to visit your Mom, we could meet somewhere half-way. There is some minor residual oil in there that I would not want to undertake cleaning out and might present a shipping challenge. That said, I could carefully bag it off and send it UPS, let me know.

Nick, yours have the 3-wire sender? Liz's does not, and that's what I need. I'd still pay for shipping if you're willing to send.

I don't know what the "3-wire sender" is, it is not pictured on the Evinrude parts site. There is a double stranded wire attached. Don't know if that helps.

Liz,

Yours being an '85, I don't think it has the 3-wire plug. That's ok. I want I anyway :). I'll find a 3-wire sender/sensor somehow.

Peter- should I assume that you don't want my VRO then?

No, Liz. I still want yours. No worries. I'll call my mother today.
