I had a good friend out a few times on my Whaler this summer and he really liked the Yamaha OX66 on my boat.
He is in a repower situation and I wondered if anyone knows if there are any Yamaha dealers that might still stock a non current OX66 225 in a long shaft.
I still see a few 200 Yamaha carb units in crates which is suprising so I thought I would check in with CW to see if anyone could point me in what direction I might check to see if any of these still exist somewhere in a crate.

Good motor (have one myself) but they stopped making those years ago. If he has the money for a new motor then the latest and greatest 4 cycles use much less fuel than a ox66.

Check the Yamaha dealers in FL.
The numbers for units sold are highest in this state.
I found a "NEW" left over 2008, 90 HP. after much searching.
There might still be a 225 HP out there.
